The assault rifle is a basic weapon for most players in Riot Games ‘new game VALORANT.However, like most FPS, Valorant best weapons each rifle has its pros and cons when it comes to the person’s playing style and ability. There are rifles for every situation, but only one weapon can stand above the others.

Vandal

AK-47 enthusiasts will be glad to know that the Vandal is the spiritual successor to one of the FPS world’s most beloved weapons. The Vandal smashes enemies to pieces with ease, but experiences heavy backlash that he needs to get used to a bit. He has a 25-round clip and deals 156 damage when shot in the head.

But what makes this weapon so good is that there is no damage drop at a distance of 50 metres. As a result, players with good hit ratio will be greatly rewarded with instant head strikes and heavy damage – that is, if you can master the recoil model of the weapon.

Phantom

As Vandal’s silent sister, this sleek rifle will draw comparisons to CS: GO’s M4A1 – the gun is also automatic but has a higher rate of fire and a 30-round clip. The recoil isn’t as powerful in The Phantom either, making it the perfect weapon for short-and medium-range collisions.

The only problem with this rifle is the damage drop it has when a player enters a long-range shootout. For example, it does the same amount of damage as a Vandal with a close-range head kick, but that damage is reduced by 16 when you enter the 15 to 30-meter mark. At 30 to 50 meters, this damage is reduced by going further, which can cause problems on certain maps and at right angles.

Still, the weapon is a laser in the right hands and in the right situations. Agents who like to get close and be personal may consider taking a Phantom to quickly and quietly shut down the enemy team.

Guardian

The Guardian is a semi-automatic rifle, but it’s lethal if you’re consistent with your accuracy. It costs 200 less credits than Vandal and Phantom, but can’t really be trusted in the event of a close quarter battle.

If you’re not too sure of your destination yet, you might want to choose an automatic option from the Buy menu – but if you’re in the zone, this can be a great weapon to keep at medium to medium angles.

Bulldog

The Bulldog is the cheapest rifle sitting on the game menu with at least 2,100 credits. The reason for the price drop is the lack of damage, but if your team lacks damage and money, the Bulldog actually brings plenty of bang for your buck.
Its rebound is manageable enough and 800 credits less than Vandal or Phantom could allow you to get much-needed armor or abilities to help you win this crucial round.
