The Golden Compass
The Golden Compass is a 2007 activity experience puzzle computer game created by Shiny Entertainment for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows, and by A2M for Nintendo DS.
The game was distributed on all stages by Sega, and was delivered in Europe in November 2007 (with the exception of the PSP and Windows adaptations, which were delivered in December), and in North America in December. It is the computer game of the 2007 film of a similar name, in spite of the fact that it is additionally incompletely dependent on the 1995 novel whereupon the film is based, Northern Lights by Philip Pullman. The game was delivered preceding the film and highlights a marginally extraordinary succession of occasions towards the finish of the story, just as extra film toward the finish of the game not found in the film. This was because of a last moment re-alter of the last half-hour of the film by New Line Cinema, which couldn’t be joined into the game, as it depended on the shooting script. Due to this the game figures out how to depict thought processes and themes of the book in considerably more detail, incorporating subtleties just present in later books of the trilogy. The Golden Compass was the last game created by Shiny before Foundation 9 Entertainment combined them with The Collective. A huge element has Dakota Blue Richards and Freddie Highmore repeating their jobs from the film.
The game got principally bad audits across all stages, with numerous commentators contending the plot was tremendous except if one knew about the film or potentially novel. Other normal reactions included graphical glitches, poor interactivity and level plan, bugs, and an overall sense that the game was raced to deliver before it was prepared (a typical part of authorized tie in games from this time).
