The Getaway is an activity experience open world computer game created by Team Soho and distributed by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 2.
The Getaway is roused by British hoodlum films, most eminently Get Carter and Snatch. Initially, the arrival of the game was to match with the dispatch of the PlayStation 2 out of 2000, yet was deferred by 27 months because of the trouble of re-making enormous spaces of London in high goal. Portions of The Getaway include in different scenes of Graham Duff’s Ideal.
The game spotlights on two characters each with their own plot settings, Mark Hammond, an ex-burglar, and Detective Constable Frank Carter, a cop in assistance with the Flying Squad, with the two plots running equal and converging prior to deducing in the finale of the game. A spin-off, entitled The Getaway: Black Monday, was delivered in 2004.
