FlatOut 2 is an activity hustling computer game created by Bugbear Entertainment and distributed by Empire Interactive. It is the continuation of the 2004 game FlatOut.
This game is themed more on the road hustlingimport tuner scene than its archetype. An outstanding change is the tire hold; players can assume greater responsibility for their vehicle, agonizing less over slipping in tough maneuvers. The game has three vehicle classes derby, race, and road.
It was delivered in Russia on June 29, 2006, in Europe on June 30, and in North America on August 1. In 2008, an OS X form of the game was delivered by Virtual Programming. In 2014, a Linux rendition of the game was delivered on GOG.com as a component of the dispatch of Linux support.
An upgraded port was delivered in 2007 for the Xbox 360 and Windows as FlatOut Ultimate Carnage. A PlayStation Portable port of Ultimate Carnage was delivered as FlatOut Head On.
